ResponsibilitiesManage commissioning of Power Plant systems, including Plant Controls Systems (DCS/PLCs), Gas Turbine Generators, HV/MV equipment, Electrical BOP, Fuel Gas, Fuel Oil, Instrument Air, Demin, Fire Systems, HVAC etc.Lead planning and coordination of all commissioning activities, including coordination/meetings with related teams such as design and constructionManage and supervise commissioning personnelDevelop and execute overall commissioning planManage commissioning programme, including identification of project risks and communication of risks to relevant partiesSupervise all commissioning activities, ensuring commissioning is carried out thoroughly, correctly, and as per agreed proceduresEnsuring safety of all personnel throughout commissioning activitiesProvide technical know-how and guidance to commissioning team throughout commissioning process, particularly when issues ariseManage compilation of completed commissioning documentation and regular progress reporting to stakeholdersCoordinate handover and training to O&M teams QualificationsLevel 8 Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or related fields (or equivalent work experience).10+ years of experience leading commissioning activities for projects in the Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, or Oil & Gas industriesStrong understanding of control systems, electrical systems, instrumentation, and mechanical equipment related to power generation.Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, SLDs, P&IDs, and system specifications BenefitsCompetitive starting salary with year-on-year bonuses and salary increasesPaid OvertimeIncome ProtectionLife AssurancePRSA pension with employer contributionRemote Working/ Flexi-time/ Compressed Working WeekPersonalised Career Development PlanRegular performance and remuneration reviewsCycle to work schemeDon’t miss this opportunity to join a company at the forefront of electrical engineering projects in Ireland, the UK and Europe.
