Ranked as one of Ireland’s best workplaces, by Great Place to Work, we offer ambitious candidates a fast-paced and challenging work environment, with the opportunity to grow your career. With over 350 employees and growing, PrepayPower is the market leader for Pay as You Go for electricity, gas and broadband in Ireland.We are looking for an experienced & ambitious Corporate Development Associate to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with our Head of Corporate Development and contribute to strategy, planning, analysis, and implementation for a variety of commercial initiatives from new product launches to partnerships and mergers & acquisitions Your New Key Role ResponsibilitiesYou will be supporting the Corporate Development strategy and will do this by: Creating and developing high-quality financial models that will enable decision-making for new products and projectsResearching new business opportunities and leading financial and valuation analysis for theseAssisting in the preparation and presentation of business cases for approvalCoordinating with internal teams to ensure business/investment cases and commercial proposals are completed on timeSupporting the Head of Corporate Development in rapid, profitable delivery of successful new initiatives, with a particular focus on research and quantitative analysisSupporting in defining product requirements, features, benefits, and regulatory requirements with internal teamsWorking with internal teams to build and execute project plans, and gathering key learnings to be sharedAnalysing and assessing project results and help implement learnings to drive improvement Essential Skills & Experience2+ years relevant experience gained in an investment bank, a corporate finance division of a large accounting or consulting firm, or within the M&A / strategy function of a corporate organisation.Undergraduate degree.Confident and experienced in financial modelling, valuation analysis, and commercial analysis.Highly numerate, with proven analytical and business, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply financial analysis to commercial issues.Confident working under your own initiative as well as being a strong team player.The ability to establish credibility in working with senior management and collaborating with others.
