Applications are invited for the position of: Clinical Nurse Specialist/ Clinical Nurse Manager 2 – UrologyThis role is on a permanent, part time basis working 27 hours per week The post holder will provide specialist advice and guidance towards enhancing the Urology service within the Galway Clinic. The successful applicant will work autonomously and in collaboration with all members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that a cohesive and effective service is provided. He/she will perform as a role model demonstrating high standards of clinical practice and leadership at all times. Candidate Requirements:Be registered / eligible to register in the General Division of the NMBI Nurse Register.Higher Diploma/equivalent course in Urology Nursing/related field desirableMinimum of five years post registration in an acute setting with a minimum of three years in the relevant areaHave the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the roleDemonstrate evidence of continuing professional development at the appropriate level.
