Clinical Director Centric Mental Health (CMH) is looking to recruit an experienced Mental Health Clinician with a background in the leadership of clinical teams and development of clinical services to lead our team of Mental Health Professionals in the role of Clinical Director.The Clinical Director will work with the senior management team in tandem as the lead for the Clinical Governance Team to ensure that services provided by the Team are clinically robust and appropriate. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong skills in translating clinical standards into the delivery of services which are viable within the private healthcare sector.The Clinical Director will act as the overall Clinical Lead for CMH, providing guidance and support around both existing and new services across both primary care and corporate services. The role is multifaceted and will involve a range of skillsets and activities for the successful candidate to engage cooperatively with a range of stakeholders while ensuring that best practice principles are appropriately followed.Key Responsibilities:To advise the business on feasibility and suitability of different clinical approaches and strategies.To participate in development and tendering of proposals for new and existing clinical services to external partners.Act as the point of escalation for clinically complex issues:Including legal requests, critical incidents, unresolved complaints .To enable the development/revision of the Standard Operating Procedures and policies regarding clinical services provided (both new and existing).To ensure that the business is familiar with all new developments within mental health field (both applied and research) to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and innovation within our services.To ensure the business is cognisant of national and international standards to both the provision of services, as well as all associated activities.To lead the team in the establishment, review, and (where appropriate) revision of clinical standards across the servicesQualifications/Requirements:Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology or Advanced Degree in relevant mental health care discipline with additional qualifications in mental health assessmentAt least 5 years post-qualification experience in Mental Health service deliveryExperience in management, supervision, and leadership of clinical teamsStrong clinical skills (both assessment and therapy) across a wide range of populations (children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, groups) and presenting issuesExperience in clinical service design and proposal developmentExperience in establishment of clinical servicesExperience in development and provision of clinical governance and audit processesDesired/Preferred:Experience working cross functionally with commercial, HR, and operational personnelStrong public speaking and presentation skillsCentric Mental Health is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
