Our set ethical methodology promotes a healthy and happy culture that enables us to have continuous growth within our studio. We’re looking for someone who is aligned with our core values and have the following skills and experience. As a Senior Character Artist you will maintain technical, visual consistency and quality defined by our clients. You will guide the team on a project and set the example in asset creation to meet the standards set by both external and internal direction. A strong understanding of production methods and efficient workflows is key to this role.  Responsibilities:Understands and ensures a consistent level of quality in line with client vision for their assigned tasks or project.Manage and lead a project that is assigned, to manage the output of their team, ensuring all work are delivered to the specification and quality as outlined in project briefs.Responsible for maintaining and delivering with efficient and effective workflows, ensuring they and the team utilise these, as outlined for the project.Line manages and has regular catch-up with assigned direct reports, ensuring to raises concerns in 1:1Able to adapt to a variety of art styles. Able to work with leads to outline schedules for bids, ensuring they and the team are able to deliver to those estimated times.Works with assigned producer on projects, ensuring to identify risks to keep the project on track.Able to accept all feedback from Leads, Art Director and HOA.Able to work in an agile methodology in adapting, to ensure assets aligns with the vision.Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skillsBe self-motivated and self-sufficient.Ensures to always project a positive and respectful attitude.Attends weekly senior’s meetings - highlighting concerns and risks for their project and team, as well as offering possible solutions. Experience:Has industry experience with at least 1 published AAA project.Ideally 5 years+ experience in the games industry.Expertise in Maya, Max, Blender, Zbrush, Substance painter and (Substance Designer a nice to have, not essential).Previous Experience with Unreal Engine and or Unity a requirement.Helps arranged training with Leads, to ensure their team have the skills to succeed.Attends meeting with clients when asked to.
