Certification Engineer- Access 360Wolverhampton (i54 Business Park)We are seeking a talented Certification Engineer to join our team at Access 360 and ensure that our products meet all necessary certifications and regulatory requirements. As a Certification & Compliance Engineer, you will be an integral part of our production environment, focusing on, but not limited to, Fire Certification and Load Bearing compliance while also addressing broader manufacturing compliance requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in reviewing test evidence, providing guidance on manufacturing capabilities, and ensuring the company's adherence to regulatory standards. What you'll be doing:Oversee the certification process for all products, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation and information for certification submissionsStay informed about changes in certification requirements and proactively update internal processes to meet evolving standardsConduct thorough reviews of regulatory requirements to ensure products meet all necessary compliance standardsPlan and execute testing and validation processes to ensure that products meet established compliance and performance criteriaCollaborate with product development teams to identify and address compliance-related issues during the design and development phasesManage and maintain documentation related to testing procedures and outcomesPrepare and submit comprehensive certification and compliance reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholdersMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all certification and compliance activitiesAssist in the creation and review of product documentation to ensure alignment with regulatory requirementsProactively identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in certification and compliance activitiesParticipate in cross-functional teams to implement improvements and drive a culture of continuous compliance excellenceWhat we're looking forStrong knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.Experience working with certification bodies and regulatory agencies.Excellent organisational and project management skills.Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.About usHere at Tyman UK and Ireland, our purpose is to transform the security, comfort, and sustainability of living and working spaces through our expert touch.
