We pride ourselves on providing our residents with the highest standards of care by employing the best people.Chandos Lodge Care Home is looking for EXPERIENCED CARE ASSISTANTS and TEAM LEADERS for DAYS & NIGHTS to join our friendly and dedicated team who share our company values and commitment to our residents who call Chandos Lodge ‘Home’Shift patterns are as follows;42 hour contract12-hour shifts - 8am - 8pm days8pm - 8am nightsSet rota;Week 1: Mon, Tues, Sat and SunWeek 2: Weds, Thurs and FriBenefits:Free uniformContributory Pension schemePaid mandatory training5.6 weeks annual leaveOn-site parkingCareer progressionFunded training opportunities*Refer a friend scheme *Be part of a team operating the latest in electronic care planning system's available (Person Centred Software) *Terms applyAs the CARE ASSISTANT some of your duties will be to provide all aspects of personal care, assist residents to and from bed, completing hourly checks (on nights), helping the residents participate in meaningful activities and maintaining a clean and tidy home.We would prefer that you have a Health and Social Care Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent, not essential).As a TEAM LEADER some of your duties will be to supervise Care Assistants, administer medication, maintain a safe and caring environment that promotes sleep and underpins the holistic well-being of the individual, provide personal care, assist during meal times and encourage residents to take part in stimulating activities.We would prefer that you have a Health and Social Care Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) and must be Meds Trained.We will support you in every step of your Care Assistant & Team Leader duties by providing training and career development.
