Cardiac Physiologist, Temporary 12 months, 35 hours p/w

Applications are invited for the position of: Cardiac Physiologist  At the Galway Clinic, the above basic grade role is available on a full-time temporary basis for 12 months, 35 hours per week.  The Role:                                                                                                                                             ·       To participate in all Non – Invasive & Invasive Procedures. Non-invasive procedures: Echocardiography, Stress Test, Holter and BP Monitoring, (Essential) Cath Lab experience (Desirable) ·       To participate in setting standards and satisfying expectations in the quality of care.·       To participate in the work practices established within the Cardiology Department.·       To be aware of legislation and amendments governing or affecting Cardiac Physiologist &/or Allied Health Professionals and issues of Health and Safety. ·       To ensure that all reasonable precautions & safeguards are implemented for the provision of a safe work environment for all persons and clients required to be in the Cardiology Department in accordance with the current Health & Safety at Work Legislation.·       To ensure the safe, economical and correct use of all hospital equipment.·       To report faulty equipment to Bio-Engineering department.·       To assume Senior Cardiac Physiologist duties in the absence of the same.  The Candidate: ·       BSc in Clinical Measurement or Certificate in MPPM prior to 2005 or an equivalent qualification.·       Experience in the following is Essential: Echocardiography, Stress test·       Strong communication skills·       Flexibility and a willingness to respond to the demands of the organisation. To apply, please refer to https://www.blackrockhealth.com/careers       Closing date for receipt of applications: Friday 11th July 2025 Blackrock Health at The Galway Clinic is an equal opportunities employer
