This is more than a role—it's an opportunity to help expand life-changing services for people with Autism and Learning Disabilities across the North West.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will:Establish and sustain strategic relationships with commissioning bodiesLead the development of person-centred proposals aligned with commissioning needsCollaborate across divisions to identify and maximise business development opportunitiesOversee the referral process and ensure timely, appropriate placement decisionsRepresent the organisation at regional and national forums and eventsConduct market analysis and develop accurate forecasts to inform service planningSupport the design and costing of new service models in coordination with finance and operations teamsPerson SpecificationWe welcome applicants who demonstrate:Experience in business development, commissioning, or commercial roles (preferably within social care)Strong knowledge of commissioning structures, funding mechanisms, and regulatory frameworksOutstanding stakeholder engagement and interpersonal communication skillsA balance of commercial insight and ethical, values-driven practiceAnalytical thinking and robust problem-solving abilitiesProven experience in cross-team collaboration and managing complex projectsExcellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently under pressureAbout Bright FuturesBright Futures specialises in delivering bespoke residential and educational support to children, young people, and adults with complex communication, sensory, and behavioural needs.
