Breakfast Supervisor Talbot Hotel ClonmelThe Talbot Hotel Clonmel, part of the Talbot Collection is currently recruiting for a Breakfast Supervisor.Overall Job PurposeTo ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Restaurant Department, complying with Company Standards and ensuring complete guest satisfaction at all times. Role Specific Duties:Greeting and seating of customers.To ensure all staff have sufficient knowledge of menus, beverages, and service standards and to identify any training needs in relation to these areas.To assist with rostering staff accurately and effectively according to business requirements and to monitor these business levels daily.Ensure all orders are taken accurately and serviced efficiently.To ensure the restaurant area is kept to a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.To ensure the correct set up/mis en place in the Restaurant prior to service and to ensure the right atmosphere is created.To control and monitor all staff on duty ensuring all duties are being fully carried out in accordance with Company Procedures.To ensure a high standard of service and attention to detail within the hotel/your department.To maximise staff productivity and encourage staff motivation by helping to create a positive working environment.Responsible for the efficient dispensing and serving of drinks and food when required.To always deliver exceptional friendly service, to every guest, in line with the Talbot Collection ‘Empower Your Excellence’ customer service program.To familiarise yourself and to carry out duties laid out in the departmental SOPs.To ensure that all food and drinks are served efficiently with minimum delay.To anticipate any guest needs at all times.Ensure that all guests’ requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively and an exceptional service is always delivered to guests.Be familiar with the menu and as much information about the food and beverage offering available to answer any questions guests may have.Take food and beverage orders and ensure that orders are communicated to the kitchen and bar promptly and accurately.Ensure an efficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with guest expectations ensuring an exceptional level of service is always maintained.Clean and sanitize tables and counter tops after each guest.The successful candidate will have:Friendly and professional work attitude;Fluent English essential - written and spoken;Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills;Previous experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage. The role involves weekend work, so flexibility is required.
