Breakfast Chef

We are currently looking for a Breakfast Chef with a passion and dedicated attitude to maintain our high standard of food service.Key Responsibilities: Maximise guest satisfaction by providing the highest food quality consistent within the relevant cost control margins of the hotel kitchenEnsure adherence to the Townhouse on the Green standards of food quality, preparation, recipes and presentationEnsure adequate supplies are in placeCo-ordinate activities and timings to ensure correct preparation and delivery time to provide food for breakfasts, room amenities, room service and when assisting other areasMaintain product consistency in terms of of seasonings, portions, and food appearanceMaintain a strong relationship with other kitchen personnelAbility to work in a team at times and on own initiative at other timesBe able to self-motivate to ensure that mis-en- place is always prepared for day aheadEnsure proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices are followed at all timesAbility to work under pressure at times with the culinary team and other food and beverage departmentsEnsure readiness and compliance in case of last minute changes to reservationsThe ideal candidate: Must have previous experience of breakfast, at least 2 years and ideally a la carte breakfastIs available to commence their shift from 5.30/6amIdeally have worked in a similar role before Our current Culinary team work closely together to ensure the best service and standards come from our kitchens and are looking for the right person to join this team.Benefits: Focus on development & progression, Bike to Work, Travel Tax Incentives, discounted city centre car parking, discounts on hotel accommodation, discounted health insurance, discounts on laundry/dry cleaning, reward programmes such as long service awards and staff recognition and incentives including Employee of the Month/Year, Refer a Friend bonus
