Bid Graphic Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Bid Designer to join our Bid & Proposals team. This role is pivotal in producing visually compelling and brand-aligned bid documentation, presentations, and supporting materials that help us win new business. The ideal candidate will combine strong graphic design skills with an understanding of bid processes and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will be responsible for ensuring all information captured is in line with brand guidelines/messaging, it reflects our ethos and values and each bid delivers the requested information.Key Responsibilities· Design and format high-quality bid documents, presentations, and templates in line with brand guidelines.· Collaborate with bid managers, writers, and subject matter experts to visually enhance proposal content.· Create infographics, diagrams, and visual storytelling elements to support complex technical or commercial narratives.· Ensure consistency and accuracy across all design outputs.· Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks to meet submission deadlines.· Maintain and evolve the visual identity of bid materials, ensuring innovation and continuous improvement.· Support the development of reusable design assets and templates for future bids.Personal Attributes· Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.· Calm under pressure and resilient in the face of tight deadlines.· Team player with a flexible and adaptable attitude.· Passionate about design and continuous improvement.Essential Skills · Proven experience in graphic design, ideally within a bids, proposals, or corporate communications environment.· Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically: o Adobe InDesign – for layout and document design o Adobe Illustrator – for vector graphics and infographics o Adobe Photoshop – for image editing and enhancement · Strong layout and typography skills with a keen eye for detail. · Ability to interpret complex information and translate it into clear, engaging visuals. · Excellent time management and organisational skills. ·Strong communication and collaboration abilities. · Desirable SkillsUnderstanding of bid and tender processes (e.g., PQQs, RFPs, ITTs).Experience in motion graphics or interactive PDFs is a plus.Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) and integrating design within these platforms.
