Barperson for Dotts Bar

The Rose Hotel is a 4 star hotel located in Tralee, Co Kerry. We are currently recruiting for an experienced barperson to work in the hotel.This role is mainly to work the evening shift at weekends, but may also require some evening work during the week.Flexibility within the 3 bar outlets in the hotel is required - Dotts Bar/Ros Bui and Lee Suite (Banqueting Suite).The successful candidate will be serving drink only - no food skills required.Main duties:To provide service of drinks to all guests in Dotts Bar/Ros Bui and Banqueting areasTo adhere to The Rose Hotel customer service standardTo be knowledgeable in all aspects of drinks, to be able to make cocktails an advantageTo ensure that Dotts Bar/Ros Bui and Banqueting areas are set up to the agreed standardTo ensure that the Dotts Bar/Ros Bui and Banqueting areas are kept clean, tidy and free from hazards at all timesTo ensure that guests bills are correct and to ensure that all items served are included on the guest billTo ensure that all Dotts Bar/Ros Bui and Banqueting equipment is kept clean and tidy and stored appropriatelyTo ensure that adequate mis en place is completed for each shiftTo ensure that the glass wash area is kept clean and tidy at all timesTo ensure that all fridges are kept clean and tidy.To ensure that cleaning records are completed on a daily basisTo ensure that the store room in the back of Dotts Bar is kept clean and tidyTo complete all required training both inhouse and legislative.Requirements:To have at least 1 years experience in a busy bar/hotel barTo be able to work evenings including weekends and public holidaysTo be able to work as part of a teamMust be fluent in English - at least leave C1 or C2To work with management/supervisorsBenefits of working in The Rose HotelProvided with uniformProvided with meal on dutyTraining on the jobFree car parkingAll year round employmentThis role will commence as a part time role with the possibility of more hours due to business requirements.Successful candidate should be available to commence with immediate effect.We are not in a position to apply for a work permit for this role.
