Barista - Full time

We are recruiting for experienced Barista in our Birdcage cafe and Foodmarket in Avoca Rathcoole. These positions are for an immediate start. Avoca operates in 14 locations across the country. After all this time, the ethos of Avoca remains the same. We cherish our time-honoured traditions, which have been lovingly passed down through several generations. We are now heralded as one of Ireland’s most exciting retail stores, with a host of award-winning cafes, restaurants and food markets crammed with artisanal ingredients from near and far.BaristaRoles and Responsibilities ·                     Provide your customers with a friendly and efficient service·                     Work with the finest of ingredients to create the famous Avoca coffee experience·                     Develop product knowledge to assist the customer and offer advice·                     Set up workspaces so they are clean and stocked up for the next shift·                     Make sure stock is replenished, displays are tidy·                     Assist with cycle counts·                     Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager·                     Supporting your colleagues across all departments as and when required·                     Ad hoc duties as per business requirementsCompetencies·                     Excellent Customer Service Skills – the ability to go “above and beyond”·                     HACCP trained (this will be provided)·                     Willingness regarding training on different sections is required.
