Cabra castle are recruiting: Fantastic opportunity to join our team - This position is for function room service - weddings & eventsReasonably expect 3-5 shifts per week , shifts from 8 -12 hours, predominantly late shift into early hours As bar tender / bar person your main duties will be:To Ensure the cleanliness and order; correct mis-en-place and set up of the bar prior to and during service, ensuring guests are warmly greeted and promptly served to a high standard as set by the general standards of a four star castle hotel.To report for duty on time and in the correct uniform,as outlined in your induction handbookTo ensure that the bar area is kept clean and fully stocked at all timesTo Follow rigidly and observe all hygiene regulationsTo Ensure the accuracy of all floats by checking them and reporting irregularities (senior bar personnel only)You are responsible for:the efficient dispensing and serving of drinksfor the efficient service of bar food, with full tray set up to the standard of a four star castle hotel.Ensuring food is served in accordance with and with respect for the standard set by the chef.Ensuring guest need are met and guests are satisfied Requirements for bar person:Must be age 18+Must have own transportation to reliably commutePermission to reside & work in IrelandCustomer service focusedAbility to work on own initiative and as part of a teamPrevious experience preferred but not essentialweekend availability Benefits to Bar person;Professional / friendly work environmentCompetitive rates of payCareer progression opportunitiesEmployee incentives & reward schemeStaff meals on dutyFree car parkingEmployee assistance programmeMust have fluent written & spoken EnglishWinner of Great places to work award 2024!
