We support customers across Europe, North America, and Asia, delivering tailored engineering services that drive long-term success. NeoDyne is seeking an experienced Automation Project Engineer to support one of our key client sites on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the NeoDyne team and play a critical role in delivering automation expertise across the Cork based site. The Automation Project Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of GxP and non-GxP control system upgrades and new installations.Key ResponsibilitiesConcept studies and costing Managing the Change Management process Tracking project deliverables Developing and managing project schedules Coordinating stakeholders, vendors, and contractors during project delivery Developing automation scope of works (URS) in conjunction with the System Owner Scoping and requisitioning supporting site IT infrastructure in conjunction with IT (e.g., virtual servers, network switches) Engaging and managing system integrators Managing offsite and onsite automation activities (development, FAT testing, installation, shakedown, SAT, and User Acceptance Testing) Updating, executing, reviewing, and approving lifecycle documentation within an electronic document management system (FDS, RTM, QAP, QASR, FAT, SAT, IOQ) Acting as a subject matter expert for automation project validation, hardware/software environments, and associated business processesRequired Experience & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline Minimum 3 years’ experience in an automation project delivery role Strong understanding of cGMPs, SDLC methodologies, and LEAN/MPS/Six Sigma principles Excellent facilitation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Demonstrated project management capability Ability to analyse and define business problems, develop business cases, and identify appropriate process and technology solutions Desired / Nice to HaveProject experience with: Siemens Desigo BMS (cleanroom environmental control and CTU monitoring) Siemens PLCs and HMIs DeltaV Wonderware InTouch SCADA SQL Server and AVEVA PI historian Thin/FAT client application server architecture Fire alarm and access control systems 21 CFR Part 11 compliance and data integrity principles Experience delivering automation projects in a GMP manufacturing environment Characteristics We look for candidates who ·        Work well as part of a team.·        Have excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills.·        Can complete tasks independently, capable of self-learning.·        Can prioritise and coordinate work.·        Have excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.·        Can multitask and work well under pressure.·       Are a strategic business thinker. What’s on Offer·        Competitive hourly rate based on experience·        Paid overtime available, depending on project demands·        Flexible working hours may be accommodated in line with project requirements·        Opportunity to work on a high-profile biopharma site with a collaborative, technically strong team·        Chance to be part of NeoDyne’s network of engineering professionals, contributing to impactful automation solutions in the life sciences sector NeoDyne Ltd is an equal opportunity employer, and all applications will be treated in strictest confidence.
