Auditor and Supplier Management Co-Ordinator

Over the past 60 years, we’ve grown to become a leader in the private label market.C&D Foods is recruiting for an enthusiastic and diligent Auditor and Supplier Management Co-Ordinator to join our team. Working closely with Group Supplier Manager on all aspects of management of C&D Foods suppliers to ensure information is complete, accurate, up to date, aligned with business and customer requirements and meets the required accreditation standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop Audit Plan based on risk.Perform audits and ensure they are closed out with accurate, relevant supporting evidence within a time frame not exceeding 2 months from the audit.Prepare and circulate audit reports which are complete and accurately reflect the audit outcome.Prepare audit plans based on risk in advance of audits.Conduct audits to minimum of BRCv8 also including customer and C &D specific requirements.Support on approval of all new ingredients with relevant documentation.Liaise with relevant internal departments including R & D, Quality, Procurement etc.Communicate with Suppliers on required aspects of approval or documentation.Ensure raw materials are risk assessed appropriatelyFollow up on industry queries or emerging issues and report as required.Prepare presentation or summary of Supplier Approval and Management Status as required.Carry out traceability exercise and mapping of materials and supply chain.Participate in audits when required.Ensure AVL is complete and accurate.Make recommendations on further improvements to the process and actively participate in development of documentation.Support on internal initiatives to improve and protect the business.Prepare in conjunction with Supplier Manager routine performance presentations for circulation to the businessPERSONAL COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONSThird level qualification in Food Science or Quality Management.2-3 years experience in a food manufacturing environment.External auditing qualification is desirableExperience in auditing skills particularly to GFSI standards would be preferable.Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to drive continuous improvement. Strong organizational skills, with emphasis on details.Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independentlyA willingness to travel throughout Europe as and when required.  Closing date: Friday 28th June.
