Assistant Store Manager - Spar Clonsilla

The Molloy Group have recently taken over the management of Spar - Clonsilla. We are now looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join the existing team. The Assistant Manager provides back up in the day to day management of the store. They will consistently provide customers with the highest level of service possible and assist the Store Manager in day to day store operations. Duties & Responsibilities:Promote and monitor quality service among staff through training and by acting as a positive role model Create "seamless customer service" by making every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in stock Promote awareness of stock loss prevention Inspire employees so that each person contributes to the productivity of the store Delegate work load appropriately and effectively Provide the store manager with a monthly update on the progress of the store and staff Ensure the company policy and procedures are communicated in a timely manner and adhered to accordingly Assume store manager responsibilities in his/her absence Motivate and develop staff in order to encourage their professional development Maintain high merchandising values that reflect the Company’s image by being creative, educational, inviting and expressive Educational/Experience Ability to give clear directions and set expectations for staff Excellent organisational skills Accuracy and attention to detail Effective communication skills Self-motivated Able to train and delegate effectively Ability to problem solve Ability to work with team  In return for your hard work you will receive on going development training, career opportunities, and a competitive package
