The Hotel comprises of the four-star contemporary styled 108 bedroom Osprey Hotel, Spa, Conference Centre, Business Campus, Osprey Leisure and the Herald & Devoy Restaurant. We are delighted to announce our €1 million new conference suite which was designed by celebrity architect and star of RTE’s ‘Home of the Year’, Hugh Wallace. The ballroom has been completely revamped into an elegant and contemporary multi-functional space. This stunning room can accommodate 400 guests for a theatre style conference or up to 320 at round table for weddings and everything else in between with it’s versatile design and functionality.The Role The Assistant Night Manager’s role is a key position within the management team and involves assisting the Night Manager in dealing with guest enquiries, ensuring guest comfort, safety and security at all times.Duties IncludeAssist the Night Manager with the nightly operation within the hotelDealing with late check-ins and early check-outsEnsuring the building is secureEnsuring that guest privacy and security is adhered to at all timesControl switchboardMaintain fire registerMeeting room set upEnsuring night porters duties are carried out effectivelyPost of relevant F&B billsBarCash handlingInstilling customer service ethic in all staffThe Ideal Candidate You must be hardworking, goal oriented, ambitious individual to join our management team. Reporting to the Night Manager this position requires a high calibre individual who seeks a career path in the hospitality trade.The successful candidate will have an energetic hands-on approach to work in the hotel with a good atmosphere in a very busy environment. We are looking for a strong team motivator with a track record in training and high standards. The successful candidate will be outgoing with excellent guest contact.
