Due to the expansion, Bright Futures is seeking two passionate and dynamic Assistant Headteachers to join the leadership team at Ash Meadow School. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students, supporting young people with autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and complex needs.Reporting to the Headteacher, you will contribute to the strategic direction and day-to-day leadership of the school, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning, safeguarding, and compliance with Independent School Standards. You will lead on key areas such as pastoral care, alternative therapies, and operational management while inspiring staff and students alike.This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership experience, a commitment to improving outcomes for all learners, experience of working with students with special educational needs and a proactive, collaborative approach. The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
