Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is currently recruiting for a full time Assistant Accountant to join the Team. The Ballymascanlon Hotel is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland, this impressive Victorian House forms the heart of this Hotel. It is one of the most remarkable historical estates in Ireland dating back to 833 A.D.Duties:Assist with the production of the monthly management accounts including P&L accounts, KPI’s and Balance sheet reconciliationsMaintain and reconcile nominal accounts to Trial BalanceOversee Income audit with overall responsibility for Bank reconciliation and credit card reconciliationManage debtor, deposit and gift card ledgersManage Creditors ledger together with payments within agreed termsCredit control liaising with hotel management in collecting the debtor’s ledgerResponsible for processing of weekly payroll in absence of payroll administratorResponsible for statutory Revenue returns including VAT and PAYEAssist in the preparation of annual budgetsAssist in the annual audit processProvide timely reports and forecasts to assist in the financial management of the propertyRequirements:2+ years in a similar roleProficiency with ExcelStrong knowledge and experience using SAGE softwareExperience with online Procurement systems and Timepoint is an advantageStrong communication and organisational skillsOperate at the highest level of integrity and transparencyHotel experience an advantageEmployee Benefits:Team Member rates & F&B discounts in Windward Management propertiesRefer a Friend ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Recognition AwardsComplimentary parkingReferences:All employment offers made are subject to a valid work permit and us receiving a satisfactory referenceAbout Windward ManagementBallymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is managed by Windward Management.
