Within this role, it is important to maintain effective working relationships, understand where your skillset fits within the team and collaborate with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for the project.Your Skills and Experience ARB registered Architect with a minimum of 2 years UK experienceProven commercial and contractual awarenessYou will ideally have cross sector experienceAdvanced knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other digital imaging toolsA minimum of two years of using Autodesk RevitRoutine use of Newforma Project Center for managing emails, creating, issuing and preserving record documents and sharing filesKey Responsibilities Take receipt of a brief from an AHR Manager and with only limited intervention from them, develop it into a design in line with the RIBA Plan of WorkContribute to and help co-ordinate the development of AHR's Pre-Construction Information in line with the RIBA Plan of Work and AHR's Deliverables and DRMAchieve efficient and effective designs using robust and sustainable design solutionsPrepare compliant designs by following UK Construction Law, British Standards and relevant CoPsChoose or advise on material selectionAuthor specifications using AHR's NBS Masters. Source and evidence supporting and up-to-date technical information from manufacturersParticipate in Project Reviews and coordination workshopsAssist in gathering and preparing information required to support statutory submissions, such as Planning, Building Regulations and Building Safety GatewaysNegotiate with statutory bodies, write reports and complete statutory submissions (Planning Applications / Gateway submissions / Building Regulations etc)Attend meetings and workshops with Clients, Designers, Contractors, and other SpecialistsSupport the Project Lead with the maintenance of the Design Risk RegistersUse Document Control on your project(s) in line with AHR ProtocolsWhat We Offer You Salary: Competitive salary based on experienceWorking Hours: 37 hours per week (Hybrid Working)25 days holiday plus public holidays, increasing with serviceSupport with career progression and educationPaid professional membershipsBUPA Health Cash PlanLife Assurance schemeDiscretionary bonus schemeCritical IllnessCycle to Work SchemeOur full benefits package can be seen on the AHR careers site.This is a great opportunity to join our highly creative and ambitious team in a great studio close to transport links.
