We are a family-owned company that continues to grow and thrive after more than 50 years.Are you looking to join an Apprenticeship programme where you can gain qualifications, 1 on 1 mentorship along with full training & support?We are now offering a 3-year apprenticeship course in partnership with the Engineering Trust for an Apprentice Technician.This role will be based in our Head Office in Buckingham with a requirement for you to attend college in Bicester, one day per week.What we offer for an Apprenticeship Technician:· Full Training & Mentorship· Work laptop· Level 3 Healthcare Engineer Specialist Technician Apprenticeship Standard· Level 3 Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) at College (Knowledge)· Level 3 NVQ Diploma delivered in the workplace (Skills)· Level 2 Functional Skills (if not exempt)· End Point Assessment· Option to either stay In House or move to a Field Servicing RoleResponsibilities as an Apprentice Technician:Carry out routine calibrations, repairs, planned preventative maintenance and, test and certification procedures as required.Carry out the testing and set up of systems prior to despatch to customers.Take ownership of the resolution of individual issues and follow through to an effective conclusion.Prioritise issues and effectively communicate with customers and Vitalograph personnel on status and progress.Customer site visits to resolve issues, support field personnel or assist in installations.Inform and advise customers on Vitalograph and 3rd party products and solutions.Requirements as an Apprentice Technician:· Excellent Communication skills & attention to detail· Good IT & administrative skills· Customer service & problem-solving skills· Ability to use own Initiative· Interest in Engineering
