The roles are client facing and require someone who enjoys dealing with many different people and personalities. The role of the Bookings Officer is to assist the Bed/Patient Flow Manager with the administrative support to run scheduled care and patient flow across a fast paced busy hospital, within a dynamic team of administrators.  Duties within the bookings office include (but are not limited to):Inputting booking forms onto hospital systemFiling of every patient's notes and booking form in date orderDay to day operating of our busy bookings email accountCall centre duties to include operating switchboard for any incoming calls, calling patients ahead of arrival to confirm arrival time and their personal details Dealing with NTPF and other public organisations regarding access to care needs for public patients.Coordinating the inpatient transfer of acute cardiac patients into the hospitals angio department in a timely mannerCommunicating with Consultants secretaries, Bed Manager, Ward managers, DON and ADON daily regarding patient flow and bed managementAccuracy and attention to detail at all times Working at Blackrock Clinic we offer many benefits, including:Pension – Defined Contribution pension schemeCar Parking – on site available to all staff at very reasonable ratesEducational assistance - supporting employees in developmentFlexibility – we are flexible and like to promote a good work life balanceUniforms – provision of uniforms to all patient facing staffA discounted pharmacy, medical tests, travel tickets and restaurantBike to work scheme – we participate in the Bike to Work scheme and more
