The Role.GMC Utilities Group Ltd are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Payable Administrator to join our growing Finance Team, based in Ballycoolin, Dublin 11.This is a key role within the organisation, supporting the Finance Department in managing subcontractor accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all financial transactions. Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Key Responsibilities:· Upload weekly subcontractor costs into Sage, creating purchase order cost accruals.· Process large volumes of subcontractor invoices against accrued costs, deducting any necessary retentions.· Maintain accurate subcontractor creditor balances at all times.· Ensure all agreed credit terms are correctly recorded and utilised on the accounting system.· Complete creditor statement reconciliations on a regular basis.· Prepare weekly and monthly payment lists using aged creditor listings and notes on Sage 200 for review and approval.· Notify payments through ROS and process any required RCT deductions within Sage.· Review and adjust accrued costs to ensure accuracy.· Handle supplier and subcontractor queries promptly and professionally. The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:· Proven experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Administration role.· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.· Flexible approach and ability to manage variable workloads.· Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel (advanced level) and Sage 200 experience (desirable).· Fluent English, both written and verbal.
