We have the most advanced diagnostic imaging equipment available today, full Cardiological facilities including a Cardiac Catheterisation Suite and Clinical Laboratory services The RoleWe are seeking a Accountants Assistant to join the Finance team on a 18 month fixed term basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate work will with the finance team on month- end accounting and reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and assist the accounts payable team.  Key Duties for this role will includeAssist in the preparation of monthly management accounts Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, ledgers, and other financial recordsSupport the budgeting and forecasting processSupport the accounts payable team with invoice processing, reconciliations and supplier queriesAssist with the preparation of vat returnsAssist in the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processesAssist in the annual audit with the external auditorsOther duties appropriate to the post as assigned from time to time by the Financial ControllerEssential CriteriaPart qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA, CIMA equivalent)Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experienceAbility to work as part of a teamExcellent attention to detailGood communication skillsEffective problem solving abilityExcellent analytical skillsPrevious experience of accounting information systemsProficient in Microsoft Excel        Why work at the Hermitage ClinicThe Hermitage Clinic are passionate about our people and believe in their development and growth.
