Due to further expansion, Windmill Healthcare has a vacancy for an experienced qualified Accountant to join our talented team in Head Office, based in Churchtown, Co Cork. This role is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career in one of Ireland's leading Nursing Home Groups. This new vacancy sits alongside and supports our current Accounts Department. The Role:You will be working closely with our Financial Controller and accounts team to help oversee the smooth running of the accounts department.· Assist with preparation of monthly management reporting· Assist with interpretation and corrective action of these accounts · Developing and monitoring financial KPI's· Assist with preparation of year-end financial accounts for audit and liaising with external auditors· Assist with Annual budgeting and forecasting process· Assist with preparation of year-end tax returns· Preparation of both routine and ad hoc management reports· Assist with continuous improvement of financial reporting processes· Other ad hoc projects and duties as required The Candidate: Our ideal candidate will be a qualified CPA/ACCA/ACA accountant with min 5 years of experience working.Strong MS Office, Excel skills and familiarity with financial accounting systems, Preferable QuickBooks.Payroll experience with TMS and Thesaurus desirable (not essential, as full training will be provided)I.T Experience desirableExcellent communication and time management skills.Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge.An interest in financial modeling, business planning, and development.
