Account Executive - FMCG

The Opportunity We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Account Executive to join our Sales team on a permanent basis.The CompanyIPN is an innovative, well-established, and award-winning pet food manufacturer, now employing over 450 people across our 3 UK sites. Our family of brands include Harringtons, Wagg, Barking Heads & Meowing Heads, AATU and a selection of partner brands that trust us to produce food on their behalf. Our kitchens in Thirsk and Kinmel produce dry, wet, and baked foods which are enjoyed by dogs and cats all over the world.The Role of Account Executive:To support a Senior National Account Manager to help develop our business across key accounts delivering substantial and sustainable profitable sales. In addition, direct account management for one customer. Develop skills and experience to progress into a National Account Manager role.Key Accountabilities of Field Sales Executive:Manage all day-to-day customer requirements right first time, ensuring al internal and external deadlines and requirements are metIdentify key insights / actions and activate a plan to deliver with the customer, to include brand plans etcAs directed by Senior Account Manager be involved in promotional process and activityWork with category team to support ranging and category recommendationsValidation and checking of sets of data to ensure business information is aligned (e.g. – Sales forecast) Own and deliver a schedule of reporting to capture all business requirementsIdentify opportunities to drive profitable growth and improved customer service.Skills, Experience & Qualifications of Account Executive:Degree calibre preferred or demonstrable experience in FMCG businessesBusiness and commercial acumenComputer literate with good interpersonal skillsExcellent communication and analytical skillsOffer:Location: Thirsk, North Yorkshire (Hybrid)Salary: Competitive10% annual company bonus schemeHours: 40 hours per week - Monday to FridayPension: Employee contributions 3% / Employer contribution 8%·(salary sacrifice company pension scheme)Holidays: 25 days + Bank HolidaysMedicash PlanEnhanced maternity/paternity/pawternityOther Benefits: Free parking, tasty treats, free electric car charging, bring your dog to work, discounted products & free hot drinksChoice of a series of non-contractual flexible benefits, including cycle to work, workplace nurseries and dental insurance.
