Accommodation Personnel

The Following role(s) has become available in the Hotel Services Department at the Galway Clinic.Hotel Services Department- Accommodation Personnel Duties:  ·        To be responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene of a given area including patient bedrooms.·        Change ward curtains and bed screens as required. ·        To be responsible for a safe working environment.·        To participate in deep cleaning.·        To practice safe chemical handling and storage techniques.·        To ensure all equipment is kept in good working order and to report any maintenance issues.·        Due to the nature of the position some heavy lifting duties may be required.·        Collection and removal of soiled linen to designated areas. The Candidate: Previous relevant experience.The person holding this post is required to support the principle that the care of the patient comes first at all times and will approach their work with the flexibility and enthusiasm necessary to make this principle a reality for every patient to the greatest possible degree.Good command of the English languageTo observe the Hospitals policies and procedures on discretion and confidentiality relating to patients and/or their families and colleagues.Team PlayerProfessional approach to workSuccessful candidates are accepting that he/she will be rostered for day duty, night duty, weekends and public holidays.  Closing Date: Friday 25th July 2025 @ 4.30pm Blackrock Health Galway Clinic is an equal opportunities employer
