Location: London Contract: Full-Time – 37.5 hours per week – non traditional hours Reporting to: Head of UK SalesRole OverviewThe Prestige On-Trade Sales role is responsible for developing Ridgeview’s presence within premium on-trade venues across London, including bars, restaurants, and hotels.The role focuses on building strong relationships, securing listings, and driving brand advocacy within the prestige channel, supporting long term brand growth and commercial performance.This is a highly relationship driven role requiring energy, credibility, and strong execution.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Development & New Business• Identify, target, and win new prestige on-trade accounts • Build and manage relationships with key venues and decision-makers • Drive distribution and repeat businessBrand Advocacy & Engagement• Act as a brand ambassador within the London on-trade • Deliver tastings, training, and events to build engagement • Develop strong relationships with sommeliers and venue teams·      Engage customers and trade influencers through FB, Instagram, X and LinkedIn.·      Provide engaging news and information to the PR and digital media agenciesfor amplification.Sales & Commercial Delivery• Deliver territory sales targets across volume and distribution • Support pricing and listing negotiations within agreed frameworks • Identify opportunities to increase visibility and salesMarket Presence & Execution• Ensure high standards of in-venue execution and visibility • Support events, activations, and brand initiatives • Monitor competitor activity and trendsRelationship Management• Maintain regular contact with accounts to build long-term partnerships • Deliver responsive, high quality serviceReporting & Administration• Keep uo to date CRM records and report on performance and activity • Track pipeline, opportunities, and resultsPerson SpecificationEssential• Established in on-trade sales within wine or premium drinks • Strong network within London hospitality • Excellent communication and relationship building skills • Self-motivated with ability to manage territory independently·      Able to function effectively in a compact , lean team and a ‘can do’ environment ·      Established network across UK MPO channels·      Comfortable in ultra-premium environments with demanding customers Desirable• WSET Level 2 or above • Experience within prestige hospitality environments • Event and activation experienceKey Attributes• Builds authentic, trust based relationships and becomes a valued partner to customers• Represents the brand with confidence, professionalism, and enthusiasm• Takes ownership of territory performance with a strong work ethic and hands-on approach• Maintains high standards, ensuring every interaction reflects the quality of the brand• Communicates with clarity and impact across a range of stakeholders• Demonstrates resilience and adaptability in a fast paced environment• Continuously develops personal knowledge, capability, and market understanding
